CELEBRATE WITH THE BASS!

Celebrate the transformative impact of public art at our annual outdoor spring event! Free for the entire community, the picnic is an art-filled afternoon of live music, art activities, and more.

Groove to pop covers by Bop Shop Brass band and relax to chill beats by DJ SAMMIHEADD. Flex your creativity with a figure drawing session hosted by Raw Figs and a portrait exchange by Everybody Draws Everybody. Cut, layer, and remix with Cut and Destroy Art Collective and create your own bold, one-of-a-kind collage.

Get creative with hands-on art-making activities for all ages led by The Bass Creativity Center and our Teen Board. Take part in a little friendly competition with Backgammon Social for a Meetup & Match and We Met in Miami‘s popular We Met at Game Night.

Dress in your garden party best and dazzle to win the annual picnic setup contest —judged by WSVN’s Bite with Belkys host Belkys Nerey—by bringing your most creative, chic, or Miami Beach themed setup for a chance to win!

Be among the first to experience The Bass’s new satellite gallery with guided tours of The Rotunda. Pack a picnic and enjoy a breezy Saturday afternoon at The Bass.

Parking is available at the municipal Collins Park Parking Garage, located at 340 23rd Street. Seating in the park is on a first-come, first served basis.

ART FOR ALL AGES BY THE BASS CREATIVITY CENTER

Join us for our very own collaborative Everybody Draws Everybody, a group portrait swap hosted by local artist Brian Butler. Take a polaroid and hang it up for someone else to draw! Make sure to come by at 7 PM to see the final result of our collaborative art exhibit!

Step into a moment of calm and beauty by creating your own flower mandala with artist Paloma Dueñas. Using fresh flowers, leaves, and natural materials, participants arrange colorful petals into circular designs inspired by the balance, harmony, and connection of the natural world.

Fold, crease, and create! Whether you’re learning origami for the first time or already a paper-folding pro, this hands-on station is a fun way to slow down, focus, and discover how something small can unfold into something beautiful.

Wear your creativity! At the Pin-Making station, design your own custom pin using colorful drawings, patterns, or messages that represent you!

Join The Bass Teen Board at their Artist Market tent where you will be able to purchase artworks created by members of our Teen Board. 100% of the sales goes straight to the artist to fund materials for their art practice!

Stop by the lemonade stand for a refreshing drink to enjoy the festivities! All funds from the lemonade stand go toward our Teen Board. Be sure to check out the Teen Art Exhibition inside the Creativity Center.
