Virtual Group Tours

Guests will explore various aspects of the collection, the Museum’s architecture, and current exhibitions through an interactive virtual guided tour on Zoom. Tours can be customized to focus on specific galleries, mediums, or collection areas; tours in Spanish and tours for families and children are also available. Trained educators facilitate engaging discussions and activities involving team building, drawing, or role-playing in response to works on view.
Duration: 1 hour

What You’ll Need to Participate:

  • Internet access
  • An internet-connected device with audio and video capabilities, such as a computer, iPad, or tablet

*For those participating in post-tour art instructional activities/extended experiences please have a pencil, paper, and colors (crayons, markers, or color pencils) handy.

Group Tour Rate:

  • $150 flat fee for up to 30 participants ($50 charge for every 30 additional participants)
  • Group Tour Extended Experiences: $75

Group Tour Extended Experiences:
Following your tour of The Bass join our museum educators for a fun-filled, dynamic, and creative after tour experience. Inspired by the art seen at The Bass, guests are welcome to explore and create art while working with your group to achieve and unlock new skills. Select from one of the courses being offered: (courses customizable for each group, duration 45 minute – 1 hour)

• Team Building/Leadership:

Foster togetherness and inclusivity – Unite your team for a great experience, no matter where your employees are located. Through art, our museum educator will facilitate team-building exercises to bring team members together and help strengthen bonds, develop teamwork, enjoy each other’s company, and have fun!

• Self-Esteem Through Portraiture:

It’s always a good time to find new ways to boost your self-esteem. Whether it’s for you, children, family, or friends, we all need a little self-esteem all year round. Creativity can help you to build self-esteem, improve your mental health, and boost your wellbeing. Through drawing our museum educators will help your group celebrate their traits, unique abilities, and express that they are valued.

• Unlocking Creativity:

Get those creative juices flowing with art-driven games and activities that will inspire your group to think creatively. Allow our museum educators to clear the way for innovation, and open the path for curious and creative minds within their group.


*Sensory-Friendly Access

The Bass will offer accessible accommodations for individuals with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) by limiting loud noises, flashing lights, scheduling more time for frequent breaks and access to Zoom breakout rooms when necessary. The Bass can also include captioning and sign language interpreters upon request.
