Join us at Oak Grove Elementary for our FREE Creativity in the Community art and literacy workshops for children and families.
Reading and writing can be fun for the whole family when paired with art and butterflies! Together with The Very Hungry Caterpillar (or the book Ten Little Caterpillars), families build literacy skills exploring phonics (sounds) in words and the life cycle of a butterfly.
Creativity in the Community by The Bass provides FREE workshops for families throughout South Florida, combining art and literacy to provide quality, engaging educational content for the entire family through multi-disciplinary art lessons.
Weekly Creativity in the Community workshops are held in three locations throughout the Miami Metro area. Creativity in the Community is offered in English, Spanish and Creole.
