FLORIDA-INSPIRED SELF PORTRAITS
Sunday, Jan 30, 2022
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free admission to the museum all day and art-making in Collins Park from 2 - 4 PM!
Inspired by South Florida’s unique landscape and the Alex Israel X Snapchat exhibition, we will use watercolor pencils and oil pastels to draw and paint a variety of South Florida native plants and animal species. Then, complete the work by adding a colorful silhouette in the center of your painting.
Enjoy free admission to the museum all day on the last Sunday of every month, and from 2 – 4 PM participate in The Bass’ Family Day. Our free, monthly IDEAS program is created to engage families with children of all ages in activities that encourage conversation, exploration and experimentation through art. Activities include an in-person art making Design Challenge in Collins Park and/or the Creativity Center with art materials provided to participants and an Art Hunt for all ages.
Participants are encouraged to display their piece on Instagram tagging the @basscreativitycenter!
