Virtual Summer Art Camps are led by professional museum educators through guided ZOOM instruction each day. Each week features a carefully crafted art package containing all needed materials for that week’s virtual camp. Art materials can be picked-up from the museum, shipped or sent via courier service!* All camp curriculum follows The Bass’ IDEAS protocol, a method of problem-solving that has been created by The Bass in conjunction with Stanford University’s Hasso Platner Institute of Design. IDEAS – Identify, Discuss, Envision, Apply, Share – methodology utilizes design thinking techniques of process-based learning to encourage critical thinking and multi-disciplinary education.

Registration for art camps is on a weekly basis and includes access to daily Zoom classes and packaged art materials. To receive your materials:
- Pick-up in person from the museum*
- Have them shipped for an additional $21.10 per week, per camper**
- Request contactless courier service for local orders***
*Materials can be picked-up from the museum, Wednesday through Friday, 12-4 PM starting June 3, at the Creativity Center entrance located at 2121 Park Avenue.
**We use USPS Priority 2-Day Flat-Rate Large Box Shipping. Orders for shipping are only available to the contiguous 48 states and must be placed at least one-week prior to the start of your registered week (i.e. materials for August 3 must be shipped no later than July 27) to accommodate processing times.
***Local orders may be eligible for contactless courier service, subject to additional fees. Price varies based on distance from the museum and cannot be arranged online. - Internet access
- An internet-connected device with audio and video capabilities, such as a computer, iPad or tablet
- A ZOOM username and password – sign up for a FREE account at zoom.us
MUSEUM REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds. A credit is available for cancellations made 48 hours in advance of the first class each week and can be applied to other weeks of camp or future Creativity Center programs, pending availability. Fees will not be returned for failure to attend without notice. The Bass reserves the right to substitute instructors without notice. All Bass programs are organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. All Bass programs follow the Miami-Dade County School District’s schedule for inclement weather. Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the camp and forfeit tuition.
