Workshops @ The Bass | In Dialogue: An Immersive Art + Writing Experience with Neysa King

This interactive writing workshop begins with a guided introduction to Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion, inviting participants to explore the exhibition at their own pace and notice what resonates, surprises, or sparks curiosity.

We then gather to write, capturing initial impressions and personal responses, followed by a brief group reflection. The session continues with curated readings connected to the themes of Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion. Readings are shared aloud with time for reflection.

We will then move into free writing, drawing from the artwork, literature, and our own experiences.

Rooted in close looking and creative expression, the workshop encourages participants to translate visual experience into language.

Workshops @ The Bass are created for adults ages 21+ at any skill level. All materials are provided.

The class is $15 for museum members and $20 for nonmembers.
