POSTCARDS FROM YOUR MIAMI

POSTCARDS FROM YOUR MIAMI

INSPIRED BY RACHEL FEINSTEIN: THE MIAMI YEARS

Students will explore their personal connections to Miami and create mixed media postcards inspired by The Bass Museum of Art’s exhibition Rachel Feinstein: The Miami Years.

They will reflect on a memory, feeling, or favorite place and use mixed media, text and drawings to create their unique postcard. On the back, they will write a poem or personal letter to Miami, combining visual storytelling and creative writing.

The lesson includes a materials list, written and video instructions, a vocabulary list, images of the artist’s work and a virtual 360 tour of Rachel Feinstein: The Miami Years exhibition.
