Summer Art Camps

Summer Art Camps

JUNE 8 – AUGUST 14
Mondays – Fridays
9 AM – 3:30 PM (early drop-off & late-pick up available)

Ages 5-12

Enroll your child in Summer Art Camps at The Bass. Campers will enjoy immersive activities in sculpture, painting, design, and more with two art-filled camps: Little Ones Art Camp (ages 5-6) and Kids Art Camp (ages 7-12). Camps are led by professional museum educators, teaching artists and certified M-DPS art teachers.

Lunch and snacks are provided by the USDA Summer Food Service Program, although campers may bring their own. Sign up for one week or the whole summer!

COST
$280 per week
Members (Dual/Family & above): $210 per week
Aftercare (4-6pm): $10 per day
Early drop-off as of 8:30am: no additional charge

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. 

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
With thanks to The Children’s Trust, 5-week scholarships are available for families with economic hardship and children with special needs. Eligible applicants can apply HERE.

Applications and donations are accepted on an ongoing basis. Donations are 100% tax deductible.

MUSEUM PROGRAM POLICY
There are no refunds. A credit is available for cancellations made 48 hours in advance of class and can be applied to other classes, pending availability. Fees will not be returned for failure to attend without notice. The Bass reserves the right to substitute instructors without notice. The museum is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms. All Bass programs are organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. All Bass programs follow the Miami-Dade County School District’s schedule for inclement weather. Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the class and forfeit class fees.

 

Summer Art Camp at The Bass is funded by The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County by making strategic investments in their future.
