Join us each month for a creative happy hour hosted in The Bass Creativity Center on Third Thursdays!

Take a break after work to explore the arts in our monthly art-making workshops that cover a range of mediums and techniques. These workshops are designed for artists of all skill levels. All materials are included.

Explore geometric abstraction through textile-making techniques inspired by Ulla von Brandenburg: In Dialogue. Create your own vibrant fabric patterns using block printing at tonight’s Art After Hours.

Participants explore the fantastical world of Rachel Feinstein: The Miami Years by designing and crafting wearable masks inspired by Miami’s landscapes and classic fairytales. Drawing on Feinstein’s blend of whimsy, scenography, and storytelling, attendees will create their own imaginative masks, transforming everyday materials into expressive, wearable works of art.

Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, The Bass will be flexible with refunds for classes that students/families are unable to attend due to illness or suspected exposure. Please reach out to us for requests or questions. The Bass reserves the right to substitute instructors without notice. The museum is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms. All Bass programs are organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. All Bass programs follow the Miami-Dade County School District’s schedule for inclement weather. Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the class and forfeit class fees.
