How do I become a member?

To join or renew your membership, either visit our Membership page and place your order online, or call 305.673.7530 to pay by phone. You may also email Laura Gonzalez at [email protected] to request an order form by mail.

I am not receiving membership emails. How do I sign up to receive them?

Please email us at [email protected] or call 305.673.7530 and provide your full name and preferred email address to sign up.

Do you offer membership discounts?

Yes, students, teachers and artists (with a CV or resume) save 50% on General membership. Discounted memberships must be purchased at the museum and must be accompanied by a valid college ID, teacher ID or artist CV. For questions, please contact Laura Gonzalez at [email protected].

Can I purchase a membership as a gift?

Absolutely! The Bass memberships make great birthday, anniversary, holiday, graduation, or back to school gifts.

If you are purchasing a membership online, be sure to select the option that indicates ‘this membership is a gift’. You can also call 305.673.7530, email [email protected] or visit the front desk to purchase a gift membership.

When do I receive my membership card?

We are in the process of sending all members a brand-new membership package complete with personalized membership cards. If you have yet to receive your cards, please contact Laura Gonzalez at [email protected]. We may need your new address!

How do I install my digital membership card?

Digital membership cards are now available to new and renewing members. You can also request a digital membership card by emailing [email protected].

Can I visit the museum without my membership card?

Of course! Simply provide a photo ID at the front desk.

Can I get a replacement if my membership card is lost or incorrect?

Yes, please contact us at [email protected] or call 305.673.7530 to request a replacement card.


Does my membership get me into any other museums?

Members at the $100 Dual/Family level and above receive reciprocal membership benefits at over 200 museums in the Southeastern Reciprocal Membership program and the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums.

Members at the $250 Affiliate level and above also receive reciprocal membership benefits at over 800 museums in the North American Reciprocal program.
