Questions about membership at The Bass? See below. For all other questions about the museum, please refer here.

How do I become a member?

To join or renew your membership, either visit our Membership page and place your order online, or call 305.673.7530 to pay by phone. You may also email Daphna Starr at [email protected] to request an order form by mail.

What membership benefits do I receive until the museum reopens?

Depending on your membership level, you will receive access to exclusive off-site events and art fairs, reciprocal membership at other museums, and members-only emails with priority notice of exhibitions, programs, events and special offers.

Upper level memberships also include a limited edition ‘The Bass’ tote bag and a commemorative brick on The Bass walkway, as stated in membership level benefits.

All members will receive an exclusive invitation to see the new museum first and celebrate with us at our ‘Members-Only’ Preview Day and VIP opening reception.

I am not receiving membership emails. How do I sign up to receive them?

Please email us at [email protected] or call 305.673.7530 and provide your full name and preferred email address to sign up.

Do you offer membership discounts for college students?

Yes, students save 50% on General membership. Student memberships must be purchased at the museum and must be accompanied by a valid college ID. If you would like to purchase a student membership while the museum is closed, please contact Daphna Starr at [email protected].

Can I purchase a membership as a gift?

Absolutely! The Bass memberships make great birthday, anniversary, holiday, graduation, or back to school gifts.

If you are purchasing a membership online, be sure to select the option that indicates ‘this membership is a gift’. You can also call 305.673.7530, email [email protected] or visit the front desk when the museum reopens to purchase a gift membership.

When do I receive my membership card?

We are in the process of sending all members a brand-new membership package complete with personalized membership cards prior to the museum’s reopening.

Can I visit the museum without my membership card?

Of course! Simply provide a photo ID at the front desk.

Can I get a replacement if my membership card is lost or incorrect?
