A weekly art program designed for our youngest visitors and their caregivers, to foster new discoveries in sensory awareness, creativity and pre-literacy skills through hands-on art activities. Each week, students will learn about colors, shapes and patterns while exercising free expression which aides in problem solving, assists in decision-making and provides a creative outlet for early learners.

The Bass is taking every precaution to ensure the safety of its participants, in this pod-style class. Preregistration is required as all participants will need to be screened. Only those approved will be allowed into the classroom space. Caretakers will be limited to 1 per registered student. Pro-rated cost is available for participants unable to attend all 11 classes and The Bass will be flexible with refunds and credits due to our stringent safety protocols.

$165 for 11 classes.
Museum members (Family/Dual & above): $110 for 11 classes.
Registration for individual classes is also available.

In 2010 Paloma created PalomARTS Inc, encompassing the multidisciplinary aspect of her artistry into all the different services and possibilities of her art work. Paloma works in music therapy to children of all ages and has been a dedicated educator at The Bass for over 9 years.

MUSEUM PROGRAM POLICY

Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, The Bass will be flexible with refunds for classes that students/families are unable to attend due to illness or suspected exposure. Please reach out to us for requests or questions. The Bass reserves the right to substitute instructors without notice. The museum is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms. All Bass programs are organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. All Bass programs follow the Miami-Dade County School District’s schedule for inclement weather. Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the class and forfeit class fees.
