The Bass Ladies’ Golf Open, presented by Tory Burch

Monday, April 24, 2023 – The Bass, Miami Beach’s Contemporary Art Museum hosted the inaugural Bass Ladies’ Golf Open, presented by Tory Burch. Supporters gathered for an afternoon of friendly competition at the La Gorce Country Club,  raising over $55,000 which will directly benefit Creativity in the Community – The Bass’ signature outreach initiative that provides free of cost art education programs, transportation and scholarships to children and families.

The event was presented with major support from Tory Burch and chaired by Caroline and Howard Draft. Additional support was provided by Christina and David Martin, Terra, Sloan Barnett, La Gorce Country Club, and Dry Farm Wines. The tie for first place was shared by the foursome of Christina Martin, Ines Rivero, Lisa Heiden-Koffler and Ebony Castellanos; and the foursome of Rona Citrin, Karen Lord, Judy Mann and Cheryl Bergenfeld. Prizes were also awarded to Diane Walder for Best Golf Attire, while Sloan Barnett, Brook Owens, Kristy Jernigan and George Lindemann took home the prize for the Most Creative Foursome.
