CREATIVE CELEBRATIONS
Enjoy a virtual celebration with your friends, family, and The Bass from any location! Sit back and relax as our museum educators and party hosts help facilitate your celebration. From birthdays, family reunions, gender reveals, happy hours, and bachelorette parties The Bass is ready to celebrate with you! Join our trained educators in a fun-filled virtual guided tour then create art from home! Creative Celebrations are customizable and include a box of individually packaged materials for you and your guests to follow along and create from anywhere!
ALL CREATIVE CELEBRATION PACKAGES INCLUDE:
- Virtual party room (via Zoom) to celebrate with family and friends
- Creative Celebrations Kit with all the art materials you’ll need, individually packaged for you and your guests (prices per kit vary*)
- Party Host and educated artist from The Bass
- A virtual guided tour of the museum
- Art activity taught by a museum educator with a step-by-step instruction
- A special gift from The Bass
- A recording of your virtual party
Parties are approximately two hours of provided programming (depending on your package), which can include time for cake and other traditions. Each package can be customized to fit your celebration and desired theme. A consultation with your party host will be scheduled in advance to discuss and customize your Creative Celebration package. WHAT YOU AND YOUR INVITED GUESTS NEED TO PARTICIPATE
- Internet access
- An internet-connected device with audio and video capabilities, such as a computer, iPad, or tablet
- Email addresses from your party guests to share your Creative Celebration Zoom access
*Certain packages require scissors, others contain permanent paint/markers inside the kit. Please let your guests know in advance so that they may dress accordingly.
To schedule your celebration please complete the online form found below. Once the form has been completed a member of our education team will be in contact with you to help design your requested celebration, check availability, and provide an invoice.
PLEASE NOTE: All payments made are final, no refunds can be made. In extreme cases, your celebration can be rescheduled for a later date if need be. The host should plan to coordinate with The Bass to pick up their Creative Celebration kit prior to the scheduled celebration.

MAKING MUSIC
This STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) driven party is always a hit! You and your guests will create and design your very own, sound-producing, harmonicas. Once everyone’s finished creating their harmonica we’ll encourage guests to perform and join our celebratory concert – buzzing famous toons for all to enjoy! Create music and memories with this fun-filled celebration package. WATERCOLOR EXPLORATION
Join our party host as they guide you through an entertaining painting experience. Watch how watercolor paint rejects certain art materials to create a unique art piece. Learn about climate change and how art can be used as a catalyst to raise awareness for what you’re most passionate about. Gift your guests a watercolor paint palette and additional art materials to enjoy after your celebration. FASHION DESIGN
Design and decorate your very own mask, t-shirt, or hat with The Bass! Join your guests as we explore different styles throughout history, and design our own pieces. Once dry, rock your piece for friends and family to see! The Bass party host will facilitate a fun runway walk and dance party once your pieces are ready! This Creative Celebration package is geared for guests of all ages, guests under six may need some assistance. WARNING: This kit includes non-toxic permanent markers and paint.

POP-UP PAPER AND ORIGAMI CREATIONS
Enjoy the peace and serenity of creating origami art wherever you are. You and your guests will be guided through a number of different origami and paper pop-up techniques and styles. At the conclusion of your celebration, all artists are encouraged to participate in an exhibition showcasing their work to everyone. This Creative Celebration package is geared for guests of all ages, guests under six may need some assistance with folding and cutting. Scissors are not included in this kit.

PUPPET PARTY
Stimulate your imagination as you join The Bass in creating your own puppet! You and your guests will design and create a new pal to then party with you. Your party host will facilitate puppet party games, dances, and even narrate a fun and interactive show in which you, your guests, and new puppet pals are the stars. This package goes great with themed parties. This Creative Celebration package is geared for guests of all ages, guests under six may need some assistance with cutting and gluing and must be supervised. This kit features small art materials. SILLY SCULPTURES
Express yourself through your hands! Join your guests in molding a sculpture out of air-dry model magic clay using different tools and embellishments. Once completed showcase your work in a group art exhibition.
