From October 29, 2017 to May 21, 2018, Pascale Marthine Tayou had a solo exhibition at The Bass titled, Beautiful, in which he exhibited his contemporary works alongside historical art and artifacts from the museum’s founding collection. His large artwork titled Welcome Wall is part of the museum’s collection, and lives in the lobby to welcome all visitors.
