Book Club: Continental Drift
Thursday, Jul 11
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Set in the 1980s, Russell Banks’ Continental Drift follows two plots—one of a working-class New Englander moving to Florida in search of riches and the other, of a young Haitian woman emigrating to the United States to flee the strife of her homeland. We will discuss this novel in conversation with We Are in This Together: Selections from the Collection which considers the complex network of our increasingly globalized world.
Please come prepared to discuss the book and for a brief walkthrough of the exhibition.
