Social Circle: Embroidery and Art Practices for Renewal | Educator Workshop

This professional development opportunity designed by the education team at the Bass aims to host a participatory workshop that builds community by teaching art educators contemporary embroidery practices and techniques to destress and find balance through art making. The day will be divided into two workshops. The first will be led by artist Laura Marsh and focus on hands on stitching techniques and the second will be led by art therapist Sara Laing and focus on de-stressing and finding balance through art making. The workshops will be hosted in the exhibition Social Assembly and in the Creativity Center at The Bass Museum of Art.
