FAMILY DAYS
ALL AGES | Last Sunday of each month
2-4 PM
FREE admission all day

Families with children of all ages are invited to join us for Family Day—an afternoon of art-making, exploration, and fun! Activities include in-person projects in The Bass Creativity Center, where materials are provided to encourage hands-on creativity and experimentation. Families can also embark on a prompted art exploration of our current exhibitions using an art explorer guide—a playful scavenger hunt through the galleries, inviting participants to search for specific artworks, answer questions, and engage deeply with what they discover.

Each Family Day includes special Art Cares projects, focusing on therapeutic, well-being centered activities that foster connection and emotional expression through art.

FREE bus service available from Coconut Grove, Little Havana and Little River on select Sundays.

United States of Creativity
Join us in celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States through a collaborative art-making experience that honors the creativity that unites us. Through color, texture, and collective expression, families will contribute their own unique pieces to a growing artwork that reflects what it means to be part of one creative nation- multi-faceted, dynamic, and united through art.

On View: Homeless Trust Poster Competition Winners

The Bass is proud to display the winning entries from the Homeless Trust’s annual poster contest, featuring powerful artwork by Miami-Dade County Public Schools students. These works reflect on how our community extends hope to youth experiencing homelessness through care, support, and service.
