An update from The Bass regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In light of recent news from the City of Miami Beach and the activation of Phase 1A on May 20, our staff is actively working to ensure health and safety measures are put in place throughout the building for our visitors in preparation for reopening. At this time, The Bass Museum of Art remains temporarily closed. We will provide an update on an expected reopening date in the coming weeks. All programming and events have been moved to online format, cancelled or postponed for the time being.
Our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our visitors is paramount at this time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding as we do our part in ensuring a safe and cautious reopening.
During these challenging and anxious times, we believe the power of art can provide solace and hope. While our physical doors may be shuttered for the time being, we have been working consistently over the past two months to make more digital content accessible online through The [Virtual] Bass.
