Monet’s Garden

Campers will spend the day learning about the Impressionist painter, Claude Monet’s work and his garden in Giverny, France. Working in an Impressionist style, campers will paint their own landscapes.

Hip Hop & Street Art

With Miami City Ballet, campers will gain skills in the style of hip hop dancing. At the Bass, explore street art including graffiti and other forms of public art expression.

Jungle Art

Campers will take a walk on the wild side as they spend the day creating artwork inspired by the ecosystem of the jungle.

The Art of Food

Food has been a popular subject for artists to incorporate into their practice throughout art history. During this Spring Art Camp, campers will create works such as still life's that highlight the art of food.

Contemporary Movement & Figure Drawing

With Miami City Ballet, campers will work on techniques in contemporary dance. At the Bass, campers will strengthen skills in figure drawing with the help of models.

Move and Groove

Campers will spend the day incorporating movement into their artistic practice as they move, groove and create!

Pollock and Paint

Abstract Expressionist painter Jackson Pollock is best known his iconic large-scale works made using a “drip technique.” Campers will explore Pollock’s method as they experiment with paint to create abstract artworks.

Ballet & Costume Design

With Miami City Ballet, campers will get traditional as they spend the morning practicing ballet. At the Bass, campers will draw inspiration from Miami City Ballet’s costume department and design their own stage-ready costumes.
