Summer Art Camps

JUNE 10 – AUGUST 9, 2024 
AGES 5-12 I 9 AM – 3:30 PM 

Aftercare is available until 6 PM 

Weeks of June 24, July 8, and July 22 for the 7-12 camp are SOLD OUT!

 

Campers will use their unique creativity to make one-of-a-kind projects designed by teaching artists and learn through fun, hands-on art activities in sculpture, painting, design and more.

Each week features a new theme and a new adventure! Sign up for one week of learning and artmaking or the whole summer!

Design and construct your own wearable art during this week of Summer Art Camp! Using fabric, thread and more, campers will bring their fashion designs to life.

JULY 22-26: Teen Studio Art Intensive

This program is designed to help students develop a necessary foundational skillset to develop portfolio-ready artwork. Students will complete a series of artworks in drawing, painting, printing, and sculpture. This immersive experience places emphasis on technique, concept development and refining one’s sketchbook. The Teen Studio Art Intensive is aimed for both high school and college prospective students. The teaching artist will coach students for optimal portfolio and application preparedness.

ART CAMPS REFUND POLICY

Refunds may be issued prior to the first class session and are subject to a $25 processing fee. After the first class session, the maximum refund available is 50% of the full cost of the course. Refunds are not available after the first two class sessions. Fees will not be returned for failure to attend without notice.

Please note that we are unable to prorate classes; the entire course must be purchased at the time of registration.

Exchanges within the same semester may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Please call 786-477-6003 or email [email protected] to talk through your individual situation so we can try to find a class that works for you.

The Bass reserves the right to substitute instructors without notice. The museum is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms. All Bass programs are organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. All Bass programs follow the Miami-Dade County School District’s schedule for inclement weather. Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the class and forfeit class fees.
