Third Thursdays
Mirroring the thematic lens of the 2025-26 exhibition season, titled The Kaleidoscopic, public programs at The Bass will offer audiences multiple entry points in which to engage with diverse perspectives and narratives. Through a dynamic series of events that feature special guests shaping art & culture and various participatory activations, The Bass curatorial vision is continuously refracted through dialogue and shared experiences.
Season highlights include a robust continuation of The Bass Dialogues, a slate of intimate conversations with artists and cultural thinkers. Featured guests include assume vivid astro focus (Eli Sudbrack), Jack Pierson, Tom Healy, András Szántó, Isaac Julien, Lawrence Lek, Barbara London, Kennedy Yanko, and Yuko Mohri.
Third Thursdays resume with evenings of storytelling, poetry, historical deep dives, community conversations, and one-night only site-specific installations. Partner hosts include Uncle Scotchy & Friends, TheNightclub, local historian Malcolm Lauredo, O, Miami Poetry Festival, Commissioner, and the return of Masisi for a summer residency.
Marking the arrival of spring, The Bass will host its annual Art Outside Annual Picnic in Collins Park to celebrate the transformative impact of public art.
Made possible with generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation Access for All Program, all events are free with RSVP and take place at The Bass, 2100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Seating and standing room are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
