The museum reopened to the public on September 16, 2020 with rigorous health and safety standards, adjusted hours and new exhibitions after closing in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bass welcomes back visitors to safely explore new exhibitions Open Storage and The Willfulness of Objects that are on long term view and returning favorites like Mickalene Thomas’ Better Nights, on view through January 31, 2021.
